“Leading a balanced lifestyle through moderation, not deprivation.”

Hi! I'm Breanne Turner

I have a passion for teaching others how to ditch the all or nothing mentality and strict meal plans. I’m a wife to an amazing man and mom to two beautiful (twin) girls! I am an NASM Certified Personal Trainer & Corrective Exercise Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Coach and a Certified Health & Life Coach. I love Jesus but I cuss a little, am fluent in sarcasm, love all the food, enjoy reading, lifting heavy stuff, shopping, napping and traveling though I don’t do it often enough because kids. My passion is to teach others how to lead a healthy lifestyle of moderation, not deprivation.

Health Coaching

(Virtual or in-person)

I work with people who are tired of dieting, over scheduled and think a strict meal plan and hours of exercise is the only way to improve their health.  I have the pleasure of educating and empowering my clients (and their families) to make the necessary changes through small, micro shifts without depriving themselves of the food they love or spending hours in the gym. My 90 Day Transformation program is a fantastic place to start for those who feel like they have tried everything with little success.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you write me a meal plan?

No. Telling you exactly what to eat is not teaching you the skills to be able to make healthy choices on your own. It’s nearly impossible to follow a plan perfectly anyway unless you enjoy carrying tupperware containers with you to every holiday event, birthday party, wedding, date night, etc. You can not live and enjoy life if you’re a slave to a strict meal plan (which also verges on disordered eating).

What’s the most effective, long term strategy to lose weight?

Lift weights. That doesn’t mean heavy, grunt inducing weights either. We lose bone density as we age so it’s all the more important to lift weights to help slow that decrease. Additionally, lifting weights helps burn fat, increase metabolism, improves strength, improves balance, helps stave off disease, helps regulate insulin, improves sleep, posture, mood, endurance, confidence and more!

I don’t always get sore after a workout. Does that mean I didn’t work hard enough?

Not at all! The whole #beastmode and #nopainnogain thing needs to die. If you can’t walk or get up and down stairs without crying, you’ve over extended. A little soreness is fine but a lack of soreness is NOT an indicator that you didn’t work hard.

Do detox teas, fat burners, waist trainers and sweat belts really help lose fat?

Not even a little bit. Sweat belts make you sweat. Sweat is not fat. Sweat is your body’s way of cooling itself down. Fat burners simply increase your heart rate which tend to make you jittery which makes you sweat. Detox teas…why are these still a thing? Waist trainers can shrink your waist; to the detriment of your internal organs. Seriously, this is not a healthy long term strategy.

How much water should I drink every day?

Every body’s needs are specific to them. Your level of activity and climate matter too. A very general rule of thumb is to take half your body weight, divide by 2 and drink that many ounces. Additionally, your urine is a pretty solid indicator of hydration. Aim for pale yellow to clear.

Do I need a protein shake?

Short answer? Probably not. A protein shake should be used as a supplement to your diet. IF you are having a hard time meeting your protein needs from whole foods, a clean protein shake may be a good option for you. If you’re in a busy season of life and have to choose between a clean protein shake on the go or fast food, opt for the shake. Be mindful of the ingredients. Anything with artificial dyes, chemicals and artificial sweeteners isn’t always a superior option.

What is the best type of diet to follow?

The one that works for YOU, longterm.

How do I get a flat tummy?

Nutrition, nutrition, nutrition. No amount of crunches will give you a 6 pack or that nice, tight midsection if your nutrition is not in check. Additionally, in order to see ‘abs’ or a defined tummy, you must shed the excess fat. No amount of crunches will yield a 6 pack if it’s covered in a layer of fat.

What supplements should I be taking?

That depends. What are you deficient in? No one should blindly take supplements. I recommend having your basic levels tested by your doctor and first, seeing what, if any, deficiencies you have. From there, see where you can increase those levels with whole foods first. If you still need supplementation, find the cleanest option your budget allows.

What comes first, cardio or weights?

Weights. Always weights. Save your cardio session for the end of your workout as you risk expending too much energy that you will need for your strength training.

Our Clients Love Us

“What I love about Bre is that she supports people no matter where they are mentally, physically or financially. This is what makes her genuine in my eyes. I have seen her be there for people who are not motivated, are not buying product from her, are not sure of themselves and so on. I believe Bre wants the best of health and happiness for anyone who wants those things for themselves. She will give her support and love, not expecting anything in return. There have been times that I must have seemed to disappear in my busy life and lack of motivation for my own health and fitness. Bre never pressured me but she checked in every few weeks just to make sure I was ok and find out if she could do anything for me. She lets you go at your own pace but motivates you and encourages you at the same time. She is honest. She is not a pushy salesperson. She is genuine. She is caring. She is passionate. I could not have asked for a better coach and friend.”

Michelle M.

“Bre is absolutely wonderful at keeping you motivated. She takes time and makes the effort to check in and offer helpful ideas to keep you on track and achieve your goals! She has been a tremendous help to me personally by sticking with me and encouraging me even when my goals feel unobtainable. I still have a long way to go on my journey but I’m confident I will reach my destination with her support!”

Rebecca K.

“When I started to train with Bre, I was at the heaviest weight I had ever been. I was not obese, but my clothes were tight, I did not like looking in the mirror, and I was disappointed in myself that I had started to let my health take a back seat in my life. Enter Bre! Breanne is an excellent trainer and takes the time to get to know you as a person, your habits, your physical limitations, and your goals. She was able to match me with the perfect workout to begin my health journey. Bre also stressed healthy nutrition habits in order to accelerate my progress. I never once dieted; I just learned about portions and nutrition from Breanne and changed my way of eating. Once I started seeing results, Bre took the time to reassess my progress and updated my workout regimen to keep the results coming. I have lost 25 pounds with Breanne and got to my goal weight. With Bre’s help, I have kept all the weight off for almost a year now. I am in better shape, inside and out, than I have ever been. Bre is amazing because she truly cares about her clients and their health. If you want someone who will tell you how it is, give you unending support and motivation, and help you achieve the body and health you have always wanted – Bre is the trainer for you!”
